Originally founded in 2015, Fret Shop Boys Guitar Repair was one of the inspirations that later lead to Figurehead Guitars. 

 Located in Santa Clarita, my shop serves guitar players throughout the greater Los Angeles area who are looking for repair work done at the highest possible standard. I specialize in the jobs that require precision, experience, and a deep understanding of both modern and vintage instruments—the kind of work many shops won’t take on.

I offer everything you’d expect from a professional guitar repair shop and more. From setups and fret work to advanced structural, electrical, and custom modifications, all work is done in-house, start to finish, by me. If another shop turned it away, there’s a good chance I can handle it. The secret is that this is a custom shop. I build Figurehead guitars full time, so the same tools, skills, and attention go into every repair.

I’ve been entrusted with vintage, rare, and irreplaceable instruments, as well as countless guitars owned by high-profile and touring musicians even celebrities. Every instrument is treated with the same level of care, whether it’s a daily player or a priceless vintage piece. My work is meticulous, consistent, and built to last.

While I specialize in electric guitars, I also work on acoustics, basses, and other stringed instruments. In addition to repair and restoration, I offer guitar refinishing, primarily in nitrocellulose lacquer, with an emphasis on thin, musical finishes that look right, feel right, and age naturally.
